muskatears

one has my hair
one has my clothes
one has my shoes

can you tell which is which?

inspired

having a keith moment

ive been having sweet memories of keith haring lately.
the shirts hoodies and hats and pins and earrings of his i wore through the 80's and 90's.
sharing a wink and nod with him in 87 as i left the popshop wearing a sweater full o' pins i just bought, and having my first and last speechless moment of awe.
how much he inspired me in creating things and being open and yourself.
mad love 4eva.

(and jonesing a little bit for jeremy scotts for adidas projects)

my love, its complex...

i was introduced to complex geometries this past year, they sell at oak, and online.
since then i go at least once a week to the website hoping for a 90% sale. i imagine these few pieces in my wardrobe in the not too distant future. just like the lottery money in my account...

its in the ombre hombre

images from various style sites over the last year, showing this rough and slick ombre hair magic thats happening.
takes me back to the manic panic days, where the natural progress of fading from tips to roots was so exciting. as exciting as the first day of wild bright colour.
last shot is the color i think would rock the most in this ombre style.

brown shoe phenom

all these shots are from the amazing sart
this year has seem some amazingly aged brown shoes take over. love it to the max.
i am happy to say i found a used pair of broken in brown brogues for $18 at housing works in soho.
woo woo.
get some.
spring, no socks, forevs.

why not more westwood?

saw this coat on some european site, for sale, at a few hundred. vivienne westwood.
why cant more people create things like this. i am so tired of crew necks, vnecks, blah blah blah.
life is short, why not have fun?
its cute right?

shutting it down

this guy is ridiculous.
i go back and back to this picture.
the audacity
the excitement
the otherwise conservative items mixed together to create anarchy
the life
the colour
the eyes
the stubble

like i said, back and back.
the sart finds the most amazing people.
you have to click the pics to blow up and get the full effect

the real choice

although i thought the boots below were and still are a hot choice, and will be the major mainstream next year...
i found these boots, above, on amazon. I thought i was getting in on something rare, as they said japanese street brand. and i got the black pair first, as a christmas present of my choice from mum. then when i received an other voucher for the right amount, got the white pair as well, as they fit great, look great, and well thats enough.
then i found out, JUMP has a store in soho. so no cutting edge here i guess, but i did get them for about 75% less then they cost at the store. so thats good
